December 2009 - Ladies Auxiliary to the Eagles
 

A cheque in the amount of $1000 was presented to the LDC form the Ladies Auxiliary to the Eagles. Two representatives from the auxiliary joined our board and staff in celebrating the holidays!  



November 2009 - Pulp,Paper & Woodworkers of Canada / Local 9
 

PPWC Local 9 generously contributed $250 to the Learning Difficulties Centre of BC



November 2009 - The Royal Canadian Legion Branch No.43
 

The LDC was the recipient of a wonderful $250 donation from the Royal Canadian Legion Branch No.43.



Sept. 2008 - Gary Young Agencies Ltd. and Custom Business Systems Ltd.
 

Gary Young Agencies Ltd. and Custom Business Systems Ltd. hosted a golf tournament September 6th, 2008 at the Aberdeen Glen Golf Course to fundraise for the LDC.  

The RBC Foundation generously contributed a $1000 towards the tournament.

The total proceeds came to $15,592 and were donated to the centre.

Dale Freschi(left), the regional vice-president of the RBC Royal Bank and Don Kehler(far right), the vice-president of the RBC Royal Bank, donated $1,000 to the Learning Difficulties Centre of B.C.. Receiving the cheque was the charity golf tournament fundraising committee of Jan Gammie of Custom Business Systems Ltd., Gary Young of Gary Young Agencies Ltd. and Vi Tattari, the of President Learning Difficulties Centre of B.C.



The Prince George Community Foundation
The Prince George Community Foundation gave a $2,500 grant to create, design and produce 'Multisensory Resources' for the library of the Learning Difficulties Centre.


May, 2007 – The Hamber Foundation
 


The Hamber Foundation generously supported the ‘Partners in Learning Program’ by donating $3,500.



April 2007 - The Prince George Community Foundation and the Vancouver Foundation
 

A cheque in the amount of $2500 was presented to the LDC from the Prince George Community Foundation and the Vancouver Foundation which will be used to create Multisensory Resources.



March 2007 - The City of Prince George
 

A cheque in the amount of $15,000.00 was presented to the LDC from the City of Prince George which will be used for "Multisensory Resources" and the Partners and Learning Program.



November 17, 2005 - The Central Interior Family Foundation
 

The LDC was the proud recipient of a $50 000 grant from the Central Interior Family Foundation to support the Partners in Learning program. The funds will be used over a five year period to help defer the costs of tutoring for families and individuals requiring financial assistance.
